Why do we need sleep? We hear a lot about and read a lot about how important good sleep is to our overall health and wellness. The process of sleep allows the body and brain to recover each day. If you do not get enough sleep a multitude of things can go wrong including:

  • weakened cognitive functioning
  • your memory is affected
  • and more....

Try using essential oils to help you sleep rather than relying on medication or some other technique. Inhaling essential oils with chemicals that hold relaxing, calming or soothing benefits can help the body relax and then drift on into a a restful night of sleep. As result of getting a restful night of sleep after using essential oils there becomes a positive association within the brain such as the aroma of lavender = restful sleep.
